Have a question? We have an answer. 20+ years of experience can help everyone when they don’t know what to do. Let us help you.
- How often do you mow?
We mow on a weekly basis. In order to keep a healthy yard, the KDOA (Kansas Dept. of Agriculture) recommends removing no more than 1/2 the blade each mowing. If we mowed less than weekly, we would have to remove much more than 1/2 the blade to keep it in good condition. Not mowing on a weekly basis also gives a better chance of creating thatch will can kill a yard. On top of all that it just looks better! - What is included in mowing?
Mowing, trimming around objects such as trees and fence lines, edging all driveways and sidewalks and then blowing off surfaces when done. We DO NOT bag clippings unless requested and there is an upcharge. Returning the grass clippings to your turf puts back water and nitrogen. - How does invoicing work?
We have multiple ways to pay your bill. 75% of our FT mowing customers are on auto pay. They leave a CC/DC or a checking account on file and it’s charged 24 hours after their monthly invoice is emailed out. It takes all the pressure off paying your bill on time. We implemented auto pay almost 10 years ago and our customers love it and frankly it’s the easiest way to invoice.
You can also receive your bill via email and there is a link on it that you can click and pay online, or you can mail a check back.
Lastly you can receive your bill via mail and mail a check back.
Please remember ALL invoices, unless otherwise stated, are due within 14 days of the invoice date. - Do you do 1-time cuts?
We sure do! 1-time cuts start out at $55.00 and are scheduled in around the houses closest to your day of the week. It will include everything in normal mow. Trimming, edging, etc. Payment is due at time of service unless other arrangements have been made. - What’s the best watering schedule?
We recommend 1 inch of water per week during the dry season. You can usually get that watering 2-3 times a week for about 15 minutes a zone but that will all depend on what kind of system you have and if it’s running properly. Watering longer and less frequently is ALWAYS recommended. We also ask you not run your sprinklers for the day we mow. Click HERE for more info. - Do I need to re-sign for service every spring?
Nope! We service on a year-round year to year basis. Once we stop for the season we will back in the Spring and pick up where we left off at. If you need to cancel, please give us at least 2 weeks’ notice to make the appropriate changes to our schedule. Thanks!
